Z-GEO Holdings, LLC (dba “ZGEO Energy, LLC”) is a Colorado-based, woman-owned privately held company.  Founded in 2014, with a mission to provide multifaceted sustainable building and agribusiness solutions while helping strengthen mountain and rural economies in western Colorado.

Geothermal energy is an abundant energy resource that extracts natural heat from molten rock deep beneath the Earth’s surface. It is a clean and renewable energy source thousands of times greater than the world’s oil reserves. Geothermal energy can generate 24/7 baseload and dispatchable electricity, heat buildings, and drive industrial processes while emitting zero environmentally harmful greenhouse gases (GHG). Consistent and reliable, geothermal is the only renewable resource that is always available and will provide firm capacity to stabilize the electric grid. Geothermal power plants can generate 2 to 4 times as much electricity as a wind or solar energy plant of the same installed capacity.

ZGEO Energy has assembled a team of experienced professionals from the geothermal, mining, oil & gas, and power industries. We are currently developing geothermal projects focused on Colorado. The core of our Geothermal Services team is comprised of experienced engineers, consultants, and contractors.

Our team members have more than 50 years of experience in the geothermal power industry. Our professionals include geological engineers, geophysicists, mechanical engineers, MBAs, electrical engineers, systems engineers, civil engineers, environmental engineers, hydrogeologists and reservoir engineering experts.

The Geothermal Services Team has extensive experience in exploration and resource characterization, reservoir modeling, well design, drilling, completion and testing, geothermal power plants design optimization (EPC and O&M), wellfield systems and financial/economic modeling. This gives us the ability to provide an integrated team approach in addressing every phase of the geothermal power project.

We work very closely with our investors in funding our development projects and managing sustainable assets.
